About Me

Hey! I’m Rachel - owner of Blossom Classes 💗 NHS Midwife 👩🏻‍⚕️ & Mother to 2 beautiful boys! 🐻 🐻

I qualified as a Midwife in 2014 and have worked in various settings - community being my happy place! It’s here where my love for antenatal education grew, and where I realised that there often isn’t enough time or opportunity for the type of antenatal education people need and deserve.

It has always been my dream to offer antenatal education in a way that is fun, thorough and makes a difference - in a space where people can feel relaxed, comfortable and have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get to know their choices. I’ve spent time teaching NHS parent ed classes but my journey really began in 2019 when I became a KGHypnobirthing instructor, going on to teach parents both privately and in group settings. It was my turn in 2021 & 2024 when I got to use all the knowledge and tools I had during both my boys’ births.

During my first pregnancy I tried yoga and absolutely loved it! It was so nice to have some ‘me time’ and really connect with my baby. I used it postnatally and again during my second pregnancy - the breathwork and visualisations were super helpful for labour! This led me to my next achievement of becoming a pre and postnatal yoga instructor.

So, if you’re looking for antenatal classes in Banbury and Brackley, with an experienced teacher & midwife, you’re in the right place. I’d absolutely love to support you through this precious (and often challenging!) time - please do get in touch 🤍
